GEMNODE is a delicate decentralized network aiming to solve most technical issues from scalability to interoperability. The chain first starts as a subnet on Avalanche Blockchain, instead of forking directly from an open-source, which allows GEMNODE to inherit most advantages of the chain, especially the Snowball consensus. It also implies GEMNODE network is fully backed by Avalanche network since every GEMNODE node is in fact an Avalanche node.
This very first structure of GEMNODE guarantees the best interest, security, and convenience for all participants from validators, developers to users. Avalanche validators can simply register to start validating GEMNODE network, then earn GEM in return with their ready Avalanche full-node.
From developer's perspective, GEMNODE network provides a full package for traditional applications and games to adopt Blockchain by simply integrating GEMNODE SDK. The SDK works as a modular framework that corresponds with any Web 2.0 applications, Unity, and Unreal Engine. Its purpose is to reduce DevOps workloads in the process of integrating Blockchain and recognizing a token to be an in-app payment method.
Once integrated GEMNODE SDK, builders can access the GEMNODE client interface which establishes a non-coding environment on top of an end-to-end service for token deployment, tokenomics design, automated vesting, GEMNODE DEX listing, NFT minting etc.
The main target of GEMNODE ecosystem is to bring Blockchain adoption closer to traditional app and game builders. Anyone can build on Blockchain and join the Web3 space without any prior knowledge regarding solidity, smart contract whatsoever.
The native token of GEMNODE is GEM (Symbol: G), which exists as the governance token and the only gas payment within the network. Validators will earn GEM as the network reward, whereas other participants use it to pay for gas fees. The process of building smart contract, deploying token, minting NFT, verifying contract will also require gas payment with GEM. On the other hand, G holders can add liquidity for different pairs on GEMNODE DEX, a native decentralized exchange of GEMNODE, to earn a substantial APY, or to vote for network upgrades directly on GEMNODE DAO.
After 18 months from the official mainnet launch, once GEMNODE network stabilizes in size and scope, GEMNODE DAO will decide whether or not to implement a mainnet hard fork to separate the chain from Avalanche and become an independent one.
